2009 Coaching Positions

The Clarington Orioles will begin reviewing applications for our 2009 coaching positions shortly.  Deadline for applications is September 17/08.  Please go to the “forms” link for a copy of the application and mail it in or hand deliver to one of the Oriole’s executive members.  If you have any questions please contact one of our executive members. Rookie Ball 2009 Workout

Fall Workout:
Sept 7/08 1-3pm
Sept 12/08 5-7pm
Sept 14/08 2-4pm

All workouts at Argent Park, Bowmanville.

Argent park is located on Longworth Ave just west of Liberty St (one block, right beside St.Elizabeth School on the north side.)

Annual AGM

The Clarington Orioles Baseball Club is holding its Annual General Meeting on Monday, October 20, 2008, 7pm at the Memorial Park Clubhouse, Bowmanville.   In this meeting we will be reviewing reports from this season, any new business and then lastly appointing a new executive for the 2009 season.

The Orioles are proud of what’s been accomplished in the past year however; we are looking to improve our business relationships within our community.  Any ideas for changes are always welcomed and needed to successfully move our organization forward.
 
In order to move forward, we are looking for volunteers, in a number of capacities, to help us re-energize and fulfill our goals and deliver the best possible experience for players in our organization.  Many positions are available and we would love to have you on the team, so together we can streamline our functions and deliver a first-class program.

Some of the positions that are up for election this year are:

President
Vice President
Directors
Secretary

As well, there are many positions/committees that need volunteers to help the league run smoothly such as:

Registrar
Equipment
Scheduling
Batting Cage
Media Contact

If you are interested in becoming involved with the Clarington Orioles or just want to see what we have to offer you are most welcome to attend our meetings.
